Jade Empire: Special Edition – This RPG from Bioware, master creators of RPGs, allows you to defend the Jade Empire against once benevolent emporer Sun Hai, now corrupted.  An exciting and action packed game, with typical role-playing elements.  Comes complete with large art concept booklet. Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition– Considered by many people to be the best RPG ever created, and, unquestionably, the best D&D video game experience, this game’s community and support is still active after 6 years.  My favorite game within this collection, and with infinite possibility of creating new modules (adventures), and enjoying ones created by other community members.  The Bioware website for this game is excellent, and I have received much help from other members on the site.  A must-have for D&D enthusiasts, and a wonderful introduction to great role-playing for those inexperienced, Diamond Edition comes with the original Neverwinter Nights, as well as its official expansions, Shadows of Undrentide and Hordes of the Underdark , and, Kingmaker, which contains 3 premium modules, priced at $10 dollars each!  The multiplayer is incredible, also.  A must! Neverwinter Nights 2 and Mask of the Betrayer—This game takes up the mantle of Neverwinter Nights, and creates the ultimate D&D computer role-playing experience.  With improved graphics, mechanics, and an update to D&D 3.5 rules, this game is a great addition to any gamer’s arsenal. Morrowind Game of the Year Edition—Morrowind Game of the Year edition contains the original award winning game, which received unanimously incredible reviews, as well as its two expansions, Tribunal and Bloodmoon, also both critically acclaimed (for a complete list of awards, go to http://www.elderscrolls.com/links/links_gotyrevs.htm).  Participate in a deep storyline, and in a huge world.  Morrowind is one of the most highly commended role-playing games ever.  A must-have. Oblivion Game of the Year and Knights of the Nine—Oblivion is considered to be one of the, if not the, best role-playing game ever.  With incredible graphics (the likes of which are not rivaled in any current game), a huge world (16 miles2), fully voice-acted lines (No more reading boring dialogue, every line is spoken with great conviction by well known voice actors), and a great story line, and over 200 hours of gameplay, where can you go wrong?  In my opinion, and many others’, a perfect game.  Don’t deny yourself this incredible gaming experience.  Also, comes with Knights of the Nine, an additional large quest in which you must stop the evil Alyeid King, and become a Holy Crusader, and 7 other content packs, each priced at ~$5.  All in all, a value of $70. Action/Shooter Games: Crysis—Set in the near future, Crysis puts you in the role of Special Forces Agent John Dunn, sent in to a remote island, under North Korean control, to execute a mysterious mission.  Use the incredible powers of the nano-suit in this incredibly well-received game, which has the best graphics of any game to date, and is considered a classic and one of the best games of all time. Halo—Experience the excitement of the game that started the Xbox franchise, now ported to the PC.  Take on the role of Spartan-117, the Master Chief, a genetically enhanced super-soldier sent to battle the pan-racial zealotry of the Covenant alien empire.  One of the best known games of all time, this game deserves its hype. Halo 2—Halo 2 for the PC begins where Halo ended.  Once again you must fight the Covenant aliens, and save the galaxy.  With improved graphics and gameplay, and exclusively for Windows Vista, Halo 2 is a wonderful sequel to the award winning Halo. F.E.A.R.: First Encounter Assault Recon Platinum Edition—From Sierra Entertainment comes F.E.A.R., a survival horror game in the vein of movies like The Ring and The Shining.  Set out as the new leader of the First Encounter Assault Recon, a team specially formed to deal with the supernatural.  When cloned supersoldiers show up, and are led by a cannibal and a creepy little girl, you know things are awry.  Very scary, and showcases great cinematic action; works great with surround sound speakers.  Prepare to be scared.  Platinum Edition also comes with its two expansions: Extraction Point and Perseus Mandate. Call of Duty War Chest—In this anthology of the classic WWII FPS, you take on different roles of soldiers throughout WWII.  Call of Duty is hailed by many as the ultimate WWII shooter game, and this set includes Call of Duty, its expansion United Offensive, and Call of Duty 2.  Experience the world that changed the face of the earth in a moving and intense campaign that takes you through some of the most dramatic battles of WWII.  You truly feel like a hero during these incredibly intense games. Turning Point: Fall of Liberty—In this game, you play as construction worker Dan Carson in a very unique and interesting plot: Winston Churchill did not survive being hit by a car.  Instead, Nazis have begun to take over America.  Pick up the mantle and stop the Nazi invasion in this unique and exciting game from Codemasters. Puzzle Games/RTS: Myst 10th Anniversary Edition: Play the classic game Myst, and solve the mystery of the island you are on.  Then continue your journey with Riven, the sequel to Myst.  After you finish those, continue on to Myst III, in which you have panoramic views.  These mystery games are a must for any puzzle buffs, and are very complex.  These award winning games contain very good mysteries, and might just drive one insane. Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth Command the great armies of Middle Earth in this entertaining RTS, with many modes of play.  Whether you choose to fight as Gandalf, the Army of the Dead, Sauramon, or even the Balrog, is entirely up to you.  Thousands of troops are under your command.  Will you enslave Middle Earth forever, or liberate it from evil? Rise of Nations and Rise of Nations: Thrones and Patriots Expansion: Play the award winning Rise of Nations, a RTS game in which your civilization advances from Ancient stages to Modern, and even Futuristic ages.  Contains all the standard components of an RTS, as well as having your armies grow in power and knowledge.  Thrones and Patriots allows for more play, as well as vying for world domination.
