Sorry for the cramped picture, couldn't invert any other way in my camera. You are bidding on a 2003 model refurbished Xbox, which will be able to be put to gaming out of the box. This is a good console that has some issues with certain games, as did other refurbished models, but will reflect so in the price and will make a good system for someone on a budget looking for a gift or something for themselves. You will know what you're buying, I will aptly describe it in a minute, it has worked well for many years, with problems with some 3rd party games, probably about 10-20% of the time. I have near a hundred saved games I will leave so you can see what games I have been able to use, I deleted about 10 which did not work at all (Doom III, Half-Life 2 come to mind). Most of the time, shutting off the music on third party games would do the trick. The games included are most notably, The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind (G-), with the official guide included. The guide provides a lot of info, makes the game more fun, and that alone can keep any gamer busy. I have cleaned them all with a special cloth. I will probably come across an S port adaptor (crisper graphics), though this is not guaranteed (more then likely will be included). To reiterate, you will run into some problems from time to time with certain games. Most places will take them back if that is the case, it usually third party games, and it will generally have problems with music or certain checkpoints in these cases. Just so you know what you're buying. It has some odd quirks here and there, like having trouble with the Game of the Year Edition of Morrowind, and none what so ever with the original version. Shutting off the music in some games made all the difference. But it works most of the time, and has had a lot of use as you will see in the amount of games played on it in the harddrive.
